ARRIVAL
OF THE IONIC.
The
Shaw, Savill &
Albion Company's chartered steamer Ionic, from London via Capetown,
Hobart, and
Auckland, arrived here at 11.15 last evening, having left Auckland on
the 19th.
The report of her passage from London to Auckland appeared in our issue
of Thursday
last. In addition to the list of passengers published on the 16th, she
has
brought the following :—
Second
Saloon —
Mr
and Mrs Seeley and family, Messrs Burnard,
Taylor and Cooper; 2 steerage.
After
discharging
her Wellington cargo she sails for Napier, either on Saturday or
Sunday. From Napier goes on to Lyttelton, sailing
thence for London on 3rd
April.
